The company provides lease accounting/portfolio management and vehicle leasing software, services and training to many of the largest banks, equipment manufacturers and independent asset finance specialists across the globe. IDS supports its customers from offices in the US, UK, India, Australia and Singapore. The company was sold in 2019 to Thoma Bravo.
The principals of SIP acquired control of IDS in 2012 and immediately undertook a comprehensive investment plan to drive growth and ensure that the business retained its leadership position for decades to come.

Redesigned all corporate incentive plans, covering executives and product professionals, sales specialists, and services delivery teams
Systematically overhauled software license, support and service delivery agreements to reduce risk and improve terms
Optimized cash flow & capitalization
